Rental Terms
This Equipment Rental Agreement applies whenever you complete a checkout on VaultPro. Ticking the checkout consent box and completing payment means you accept these terms for that specific rental — the equipment, dates, and price recorded on your confirmed booking, not an estimate or a later change you make yourself.
VaultPro Multimedia Limited ("VaultPro", "we") owns the equipment listed on this platform. Renting through VaultPro gives you temporary possession and use of specific physical units for your reserved dates — it does not transfer ownership, and you have no ownership rights or claim to the equipment at any point. VaultPro makes no claim to images, video, or audio you record using the equipment.
Your rental period begins when VaultPro confirms physical handover of the equipment to you — not when payment is received, and not automatically on the calendar date you selected. Handover may happen by pickup at VaultPro's Abuja base or by VaultPro-arranged delivery, as chosen at checkout. See the Delivery & Pickup Policy for how that's priced and confirmed.
Availability is checked against VaultPro's real physical inventory at the moment your reservation is created, not an estimate shown earlier while you were browsing. A reservation briefly holds specific units for you while you complete payment; if payment isn't completed in time, the hold is released automatically so those units become bookable by someone else.
Equipment is checked before every handover. Inspect what you receive at handover and report any pre-existing damage or fault to VaultPro promptly — equipment found faulty at return that wasn't reported at handover may be treated as damage that occurred during your rental. See the Damage, Loss & Liability Policy.
You agree to use the equipment carefully, for its intended purpose, and in compliance with applicable law. You may not sell, pledge, sub-rent, materially modify, or otherwise transfer any interest in the equipment — it remains VaultPro's property throughout your rental, and your right to use it doesn't extend to anyone you hand it to yourself.
Return the equipment, complete, by the end of your reserved rental period. Returning it physically is not by itself the end of your rental — VaultPro inspects returned equipment before your rental is marked complete, and completion can be held up by unresolved damage, a missing accessory, an outstanding overdue charge, or another unresolved financial obligation tied to that rental. Returning equipment early does not refund unused days — see the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
If an accessory that came with your rental (case, cap, cable, mount, battery, card, etc.) isn't returned, you're responsible for its reasonable replacement cost, assessed by VaultPro at return.
Overdue and damage handling — including the grace period, per-day overdue charging, and the replacement-value cap — are set out in full in the Damage, Loss & Liability Policy, which forms part of this Agreement.
Your refund entitlement if you cancel before handover is set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of this Agreement. VaultPro may also decline or cancel a booking before handover occurs, for example where equipment turns out to be unavailable or a payment can't be verified — in that case, any amount you've paid for that booking is refunded in full.
VaultPro does not provide insurance or a damage-protection plan as part of your rental unless a specific one is explicitly offered and accepted at checkout. Your liability for damage, loss, or non-return is as described in the Damage, Loss & Liability Policy.
If equipment supplied by VaultPro is faulty through no fault of yours, VaultPro's responsibility is limited to the portion of your rental fee attributable to the time the equipment was unusable — VaultPro isn't responsible for indirect or consequential losses (a missed shoot, lost business, etc.) arising from equipment failure or a delay outside VaultPro's reasonable control.
VaultPro may update these terms as its systems and policies evolve. The version accepted on your booking is recorded and stays associated with that booking; a later visit may show an updated version for future bookings.
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws applicable in the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. Final governing-law, dispute-resolution, and jurisdiction wording is pending review by VaultPro's Nigerian legal counsel before production launch.
